What is Relationship Coaching?

As a certified life and transformation coach, I work with adults (21 years old and up) who are seeking assistance and motivation from a coaching relationship to improve their ways of relating to others, and to themselves.

I coach a variety of individuals virtually, in ways of relating at work with their colleagues, at home in their families, with their romantic partners, as parents, and of course, in their relationship with themselves.

As your coach, I focus on creating a partnership characterized by openness, honesty, vulnerability, and authenticity. We discuss the issues you want to cover in 1-hour slots, and we will work through them at your level of comfort and speed. The coaching partnership is a facilitated journey of self-realization with someone who is focused on ensuring the personal goals you are trying to achieve are reached and maximized.

What can I expect?

I like to schedule a 20-minute starter call or zoom conference to get an understanding of the issues you face and the goals you wish to achieve with coaching.

Following this, I usually contract with my clients around achieving a specific set of goals, and a timeframe in which to accomplish them. In my coaching framework, I typically work with 8-12 weekly, one-hour, one-on-one sessions, as well as 8-12 text check-ins with my clients.

Once we have completed our coaching schedule I am available for one-off sessions for assistance, as well as for renewing coaching alliances should you wish to engage with other issues.

Scheduling an initial 20-minute consultation is a great, no-risk way to start this process, and I would encourage you to get in touch with me just to see if coaching is for you.

When does coaching end?

Your relationship with your coach never has to end, but each of your coaching sessions should have a clear start and endpoint. Coaching works best with a clear framework like this so that goals can be set and evaluated, and expectations managed. You should feel free to reconnect with your coach and schedule a new set of sessions once new obstacles or issues come up for you.
